Jack Parker, of Lima, tills a field Sunday afternoon near the Johnny Appleseed Metro Park. Parker’s plow is powered by his six Belgian work horses ranging in age from 3 to 13 and weighing up to 2,000 pounds. The Area Horses in Harness Club hosted a demonstration on the 13 acres they farm exclusively with horses and antique tractors. Parker said of the group, “I enjoy horses. I enjoy farming.
